Roofus Studios

Las-Sana/Argus, Ltd.,, established in 1984 by Alan and Marilyn Baruch, designed and manufactured K-9 equipment for Police, Military and Schutzhund enthusiasts. They also had made tactical products for Police and produced military equipment under contract.

It is from that background that Alan and Marilyn created Roofus Studios in 1998. Almost immediately, Roofus Studios became a leader in the design and manufacture of special equipment for The Police and The Military; and Equestrian, Schutzhund and K-9 enthusiast.

Top quality materials, superior design, cutting edge technology, craftsmanship, and care, are combined to produce top quality dog leashes, dog collars, equestrian saddle pads, various cushions, and similar products… and all are made in The USA.

Many of the products produced by Roofus Studios have been patented. For example, Trauma-Tek™ was designed and patented for use in equestrian saddle pads. This technology is a combination of Confor® (a rate dependent polymer), nylon, neoprene, and other closed cell materials; which are laminated and bound together in a unique process. The resulting saddle pads are used, worldwide, by many of the finest equestrian riders.

Success in the equestrian arena led to the design of pads for use in other applications such as motorcycle seats, truck and car seats, office chairs, and wheel chairs. The list of satisfied uses of these products continues to grow.

The craftsmanship in the manufacture of dog leashes, dog collars and other leather products is excellent. Firsthand knowledge and experience in the training and handling of dogs and horses is incorporated into the design of these proven products, all of which are made from the finest leather and solid brass fittings.
